ROSE SEEDS GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS Rose seeds need a period of cold stratification to break dormancy. Soak seeds in 3% hydrogen peroxide or water with a drop of bleach for 24 hours to prevent mold. Wrap seeds in a damp (not wet) paper towel or mix with damp peat moss. Place in a plastic bag and seal. Label with date. Put the bag in the refrigerator (34–41°F / 1–5°C) for 6 to 10 weeks.
